JUNIOR GRITTY SHARKS BOUND FOR PALARONG PAMBANSA
The Panpacific University Junior Gritty Sharks brought pride to their hometown Urdaneta City and bagged the crown as they champion in the Region 1 Athletic Association 2024 (R1AA) Basketball - Secondary Level event against their opponent, Batac City. The championship was held at Centennial Arena, Laoag City, Ilocos Norte on April 26, 2024. The game ended one hour and seventeen minutes after it started where the Junior Gritty Sharks were ahead 80-58 with 22 points difference. 12 Gold medalist Junior Gritty Sharks are now bound for Palarong Pambansa 2024 in Cebu namely Mr. Joshua L. Cablayan, Mr. Stephen Nash A. Campos, Mr. Kent C. Coronia, Mr. Elijah Caleb S. Cortez, Mr. John Zedrick T. De Vera, Mr. Yuantosh S. Eufemia, Mr. Jefferson S. Fabia, Mr. Mark Andre D. Gajeton, Mr. Bladimaire Cedrick Macaraeg, Mr. Breneth Brix A. Querido, Mr. Bryan James A. Tacbas, and Mr. Franz Dione E. Zambale, together with their head coach Mr. Christian Calaguio and School of Basic Education(SBE)Varsity Coach Benjamin Adogol Jr. The Panpacific University is with utmost gratitude and appreciation for their dedication and hardwork in bringing home the crown. These athletes are now gearing up for the Palarong Pambansa for a chance to bring home another crown and pride for their beloved institution, Panpacific University and their hometown Urdaneta City.
