Mr. Junley L. Lazaga is a first prize winner in the Ilokano poetry competition of the Timpuyog dagiti Mannurat nga Ilokano in 2010, was a recipient of a UP Baguio Golden Jubilee Award (2011) for his creative work, has been a consistent recipient of the One-UP Awards (Faculty Grant 2016-2018 and 2019-2021, and Professorial Chair 2022-2024) in the field of Literature, and was conferred the title of University Artist (2018-2020) for his outstanding accomplishments in the Literary Arts.
