The 'Exploring Basic Filipino Language and Culture' Summer Camp is a 15-day program starting from July 8thto July 22nd, 2024, hosted by Panpacific University, which offers an exclusive and enriching opportunity for ASEAN partners to explore the linguistic and cultural heritage of the Philippines. The camp provides a dynamic blend of language instruction, cultural immersion experiences, and cross-cultural exchange. Participants will gain a deeper appreciation and understanding of Filipino language and culture, promoting greater connectivity and collaboration within the ASEAN community.

Highlight:

Language Instruction:

Participants will engage in language classes conducted by experienced instructors

proficient in teaching Filipino. The curriculum covers essential language skills, including

pronunciation, vocabulary building, sentence structure, and basic conversation practice.

Educational Trips:

Participants will have the opportunity to explore key cultural landmarks and attractions in

Pangasinan. These outings include visits to historical sites, factories, local markets, and

community activities, allowing participants to delve into the cultural landscape of the

Northern Philippines.

Language and Cultural Exchange:

The participants can interact with local Filipino speakers and natives, and engage in

meaningful dialogue to enhance their language proficiency and cultural understanding.

Eligibility:

Active bachelor, master & doctoral students from any background are eligible for

this program.

Registration and Payment:

Registration and payment for Summer Camp is open until July 3, 2024.
