SORE EYES AWARENESS

[SORE EYES AWARENESS]

Panpacifics, let's protect ourselves from 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗷𝘂𝗻𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘀, commonly known as pink eye.

𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘁 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗱?

𝟭. 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗰𝘁: The most common way conjunctivitis is transmitted is through direct contact with an infected person's eye discharge. This can occur when you shake hands with an infected person and then touch your own eyes or when you share personal items like towels, pillowcases, or eye makeup.

𝟮. 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗰𝘁: Conjunctivitis can also be transmitted indirectly by touching surfaces contaminated with the virus or bacteria that cause the condition.

𝟯. 𝗔𝗶𝗿𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻: In some cases, viral conjunctivitis can be transmitted through respiratory droplets when an infected person coughs or sneezes. These respiratory droplets can contain the virus, and if they come into contact with another person's eyes, it can lead to infection.

Remember, prevention is always better than cure.
