PU to host microcredential on emceeing for faculty and staff

In an effort to enhance the emceeing skills of the faculty and staff, Panpacific University, through its Panpacific Language Center (PLC) and Office of Human Resource Management (OHRM), will be conducting its monthly general assembly focusing on training the employees through the microcredential ‘The Art of Dynamic Emceeing’ on November 23, Saturday, on the 6th Floor of the PCST Hall. This initiative aims to hone the skills of employees in handling and ensuring a smooth running of University events such as symposia, panel discussions, seminars, and different kinds of programs.

‘We are trying to build a culture where everyone is empowered to host and moderate different University events. Soon, we will see new faces conquering the stage through their public speaking prowess and strong stage presence’, Mr. Sermonia, the PLC lead, said in an interview.

This event will be facilitated by Mr. Kevin Jake Angyab, a sought-after host and trainer who is currently taking his Doctorate Degree in Applied Linguistics at the Philippine Normal University.

This microcredential is one of the many courses offered by the School of Knowledge Innovation for Lifelong Learning (SKILL). It can be noted that Panpacific University is the Pioneer University in offering microcredentials in Region 1.
