PU’s UNESCO CLUB SECURE ANOTHER AWARD: OUTSTANDING CLUB
The Panpacific UNESCO Club, affiliated with the School of Basic Education, has once again earned the distinction of being recognized as an "Outstanding Club" by the National Coordination Body of UNESCO Clubs in the Philippines.
In an interview with Mr. Joemel M. Rabago, Deputy Head of the School of Basic Education, expressed his elation at securing this award. Mr. Rabago highlighted that the UNESCO Club of Panpacific University has consistently achieved awards since 2019, attributing this success to the dedicated efforts of each club officer.He also emphasized that this year’s set of officers is the best as they don’t need orders, they also take initiatives in doing life changing projects.He also stated the the team is also one of the finalist for the most outstanding club.

Ms. Julia C. Nacis, the President of Panpacific University UNESCO Club, underscored the significant impact of the 'Read-a-lot' Project in earning this recognition. The project's primary goal is to instill in students the importance of comprehension and cultivate a habit of reading. Initiated during the 2022-2023 term under the leadership of Ms. Clarence Joy Santos, the project has contributed significantly to the club's success.
Under Ms. Nacis's leadership, the club enhanced its activities by introducing new initiatives such as coloring book activities and distributing books to students.

As the team eagerly anticipates the award ceremony scheduled for December 9, 2023, at the Manila Grand Opera Hotel in Sta. Cruz, Manila, they are also diligently preparing to vie for the highest recognition, aiming to achieve the title of the most outstanding UNESCO Club.
