BJMP SYMPOSIUM AT PANPACIFIC UNIVERSITY
Last June 06, 2024 the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology Urdaneta City (BJMP) visited Panpacific University to enlighten the criminology students through a symposium focusing on the current issues of the community such as Drug Awareness & Prevention, Anti-smoking Awareness, and the Anti-terrorism Act, featuring the PDL Livelihood Products.
JO2 Lorena Coquia, gave a talk about Drug Awareness and Prevention. JO1 Joen Pearl Ganipac, discussed Anti-smoking, the contents and effects of smoking and vaping. After this, JO1 Manuel Degyan, enlightened the students further about the Anti-terrorism Act (ATA) as the Philippines is one of the most sought out countries for terrorism.
As JO2 Lorena Coquia said, we must be an advocate of the right practices so that we change the lives of others. Like BJMP’s saying “Changing Lives, Building a Safer Nation.”
