NURSING FRESHMEN USE GAME-BASED LEARNING FOR FINAL PROJECT
First year nursing students facilitated a clash interaction today as part of their final requirement in the Health Education course. The event was held at the Panpacific University Events Center and aimed to nurture and enhance the teaching competencies of the future health educators.
This learning and teaching endeavor is initiated by the faculty member Dr.Virgo C. Lopez, who always aspires to guide and lead future nurses and educators in contributing to the body of knowledge and the profession at large. By engaging in such a collaborative activity, the students are prepared to work together effectively and excel in health promotion and disease prevention,thereby becoming the best nurses of the future.
The student nurses showcased their creativity and collaboration in these types of academic engagements, composed of seven groups that performed every Friday.Some of the games facilitated are Deal or No Deal and Minute to Win it format, and inspired by the famous Encantadia, Hunger Games, and Harry Potter.
