Panpacific University benchmark with the top universities in the Philippines

Recently the Panpacific University paid visits to some of the Top Universities in the Philippines, the Ateneo De Manila University, De Lasalle University and De La Salle College of Saint Benilde.

The said visit was part of the continuous growth and network of Panpacific University for its linkages and to benchmark the best practices of each school that will enhance the service and delivery of quality education to every Panpacific Students.

The Panpacific Team started their journey by visiting De La Salle University's Center for International English for Speakers of Other Languages, or CIESOL, in Manila. Ms. Rosanna Luz F. Valerio, the director, talked about the courses, class sizes, schedules, and enrollment process. They offer General English and English for Specific Purposes. They toured classrooms, the cafeteria, and other facilities.

Later, they went to De La Salle College of Saint Benilde and learned about programs like Sign Language and Multimedia Arts. At the Center of Deaf Education, they offer degrees and certifications in Sign Language. ETEEAP presented programs like Hotel Management and Dance, with graduates sharing their success stories. The School of Multimedia Arts showcased student artworks and facilities like production rooms and multimedia centers.

The benchmarking ended at Ateneo De Manila University, where they saw post-war artworks at the Ateneo Art Gallery. They learned about diploma programs and certifications at the Center for Continuing Education. Dr. Cecilia "Che-Che" Suarez from the Center for English Language Teaching discussed workshops for English teachers outside Manila.


Additionally, the aforementioned schools are dedicated to supporting Panpacific University in delivering high-quality education. The two-day benchmarking activity proved to be fruitful, providing the Panpacific team with a wealth of ideas to enhance the University's offerings.


Meanwhile, the said visit was headed by Dr. Engelbert C. Pasag, Vice President for Internationalization together with his team Mr. Kristoffer John Panem, lead for Internationalization, Mr. Marvin Sermonia Jr.,lead for Panpacific Language Center, Ms. Moira Margaret Cruz, lead for Strategic Communications Office and Ms. Kathlyn Joy Aragon, Communications officer.
