[IZN] [SDG TALKS: SERIES 3]
The Carl Balita Institute of Health Sciences (CBIHS) - Nursing and Pharmacy facilitated the third series on November 21, 2024 of SDG Talks, focused on SDG 3: Good Health and Well-Being.
The event offered holistic engagement featuring free healthy meals, blood pressure monitoring, free essential medicines, and an aerobic dance session to promote preventive care and healthy living.
Furthermore, the series highlighted the thought-provoking discussion presented by the Dean of CBIHS Nursing, Dr. Johdel C. Cabaluna, emphasizing the need for a world where health, nutrition, and well-being are treated as fundamental rights for everyone.
The third series of SDG Talks concluded with a Pledge of Commitment to Sustainability and the signing of the Commitment Wall using palm prints,underscoring the importance of individual responsibility in driving positive impact.
